This fortress was built in Central Asia over 2500 years ago.
At the time, local people worshipped the god of fire and no Christianity or Muslim faith was in sight.
It was made out of unburnt clay bricks which eroded easily from rain and elements but in this desert environment, the whole fortress managed to be preserved in fairly decent condition.
The little brown rocks scattered in thousands upon the hills are actually broken pieces of pottery accumulated over thousands of years some still have decorative patterns.
